Fast Eddie’s ‘My Melody’ To Get First Offical 12″ Release
The Super Rhythm Trax label have pulled off a blinder – tehy've managed to license Fast Eddie's My Melody for it's first ever 12" release. The acid classic had previously only been available on a rare '88 bootleg 12", and the 1989 album Jackmaster Phuture Trax– where it suffered from the quiet pressings that characterised the LP compilations of the time.
Remastered and repressed, My Melody is joined on the release by two other acid burners only previously available as album cuts – the Video Crash-esque Keep on Dancing, and the scrathin+303s party jam Clap your Hands. Finally the release is rounded out by a vintage stab of Fast Eddie Hip House, called, prosaically enough, Hip House.
The 12" goes on sale on November 16th.
