Robert Hood To Give Keynote Speech At Ade
The reinvigorated Robert Hood has been announced as a keynote speaker at this year's Amsterdam Dance Event. Hood has been producing soulful Detroit techno for around quarter of a century, but recent years have seen his profile explode as a new generation discover the Underground Resistance founder's inimitable swagger. According to ADE press, Hood is booked to address the conference, "revealing what motivates him, how he keeps going 30 years into a career that continues to grow, and what he’ll be up to next creatively. In a separate session, Hood will be onstage with the people who make his busy, globe-spanning career run like clockwork including his management team, PR, agent and distributor for a ‘The Team Behind’ session."
ADE takes place on October 14th – 18th, at over 100 venues across the city. More info can be found on the festival website here. For a taste of where Hood's music is at, check his recent set at the Amsterdam based Dekmantel festival –
