Jam City Streams New, Industrial Edged Ep Tracks
It would appear we're operating some sort of Night Slugs bias today. After noting that NS boss Bok Bok has just dropped a Django Django remix, we were intrigued to see that Jam City, quite possibly the labels most interesting producer, has also uploaded some new material. With a new EP titled Earthly Visions set for release on October 2nd, Jam City has offered a taster in the form of Dream 15. Made from hefty, mid paced breakbeats, murky vocals, melancholic synths and the occasional burst of Echo & the Bunnymen style guitar shimmer, the track that suggests that he's heading further and further into the mutated 80s industrial aesthetic evident on his recent second album – and given the results, that sounds like no bad thing.
