After 27 parties, featuring a roster of guests including DJ Nature, Tim Sweeney, TBD, Eddie C, Jackmaster, Julio Bashmore, Gatto Fritto, The Backwoods, Bicep, Koreless DJ Kent, Throne of Blood, Midland, Last Waltz, Baris K and many more, Dalston’s lady of the night, ReviveHer is literally moving her show to a brand new stage.
The Yard Theatre in Hackney Wick is may be just a short jaunt from Dalston, but the Venue itself, never before used for this type of party, may as well be a thousand miles from the basements of Kingsland Rd, setting the scene perfectly (those metaphors keep on coming!) for Prosumer to bring his trademark brand of vinyl only, heart-pumping-house.
Prosumer made his final ever regular Panoramabar appearance a few short weeks ago, but his spirit will forever be imbued in to the very bricks and mortar of the club.
During his residency Prosumer was integral in creating the template for the clubs current musical identity, and due to the significance of Panorama bar itself it could be said this template has gone one to inform underground clubbing around the world, making Prosumer one of the most important DJs of recent times.
The opportunity to see him christen this new space should prove to be unmissable and may just inaugurate The Yard Theatre as a new contender in a city that is still screaming out for high calibre, distinct venues.
Venues with personality.
The event will be a 2 room affair, with the second room promising lofty (geddit?) Mancuso vibes and featuring an array of able DJ support including Boiler Room’s Nic Tasker, Will Best (off the telly!), Benito (DJ Mag Espana) and Nicolas Feel.
R$N would like to take the time to congratulate ReviveHer on her brave decision to outgrow her confines, and we’d personally like to welcome the Yard Theatre to the scene, we have a feeling we’ll be getting very well acquainted with one another.
