Glastonbury Line Up Announced
Glastonbury headliners have been announced. Alongside the names everyone already knew – Kanye and Florence – there's been a selection of names that confirm the festival's move to a poppier place that embraces modern RnB, with headlining slots from Pharrell and Mary J Blige. Fans of hairy arsed rock need not despair however, walking whiskey fountain Lemmy is also showing up with what promises to be an essential show from Motorhead. We're less bothered about Foo Fighters, but y'know, they're there too. Further down the listings there are eye catching sets promised from Hot Chip (the new album is a banger btw), Run the Jewels, Franz Ferdinand & Sparks and Fat White Family. It looks like the DJ announcement is yet to come although we can reveal that – ahem -at least some of the Ransom Note staff will be playing records. Thank God for that eh?
