Vito & Druzzi To Release New 12″ As Mother Of Mars On Ransom Note Records

The next 12" on Ransom Note Records comes courtesy of NYC duo Vito & Druzzi, formerly the rhythmic backbone of '00s disco-punk pioneers The Rapture. Since the band folded in 2014, the pair have kept busy as remixers and producers, producing a string of leftfield dancefloor killers for labels such as Warp and Throne of Blood.

Out 17th November, Seed 2 Sky is Vito & Druzzi's first release under their new Mother of Mars moniker, and sees them fusing live krautrock drums with pulsating synth loops over a pair of ten-minute kosmische epics. Early support has come from the likes of Trevor Jackson, Francis Inferno Orchestra and Andrew Weatherall, who called it "a beautiful slice of Tangerine Dream-esque mindmelt".
