Marlon Hoffstadt To Release New Ep On Ransom Note Records
Rising star Marlon Hoffstadt's next release will be the Observing The Known EP. With early support from the likes of Prins Thomas and Palms Trax, it's out 29th September on Ransom Note Records.
Having started out in 2013, Marlon has already built up an absurdly strong catalogue, with releases for the likes of Hot Haus Recs and his own Retrograde imprint. After remixing Timothy 'Heretic' Clerkin's 'Recursive' earlier this year, Marlon is already firm R$N family, and we're very happy to be putting out some of his finest work yet.
Effortlessly joining the dots between classic rave and the future of techno, the EP sees Marlon reimagining house music for today's dancefloor, from the piano house nostalgia of 'Floating' to the Kevin Saunderson-esque late night Detroit tribute 'Batavus'. Scott Fraser [Body Hammer/Crimes of the Future] rounds everything off with a dark electro remix of 'ARP+'.
