Dekmantel Announce New Awanto 3 Album

Awanto 3, AKA Steven van Hulle, makes a return to Amsterdam label Dekmantel with his second full-length album 'Gargamel', due to drop on April 11th. 

The album will feature nine, genre spanning tracks that truly reflect the diversity of the producer's mind. The album is packed with peak time belters and features shimmering synths, heavy bass, and emotive keys.

Proceedings kick off with 'Azrael' a collaboration with co-producer and friend Darling. 'Azrael' is a slow-building, rolling number with a heartfelt vocal echoing throughout.

In contrast 'This Is When We met', 'Why Don't you', and 'Gargamelancholia' are punchy, peaktime productions that showcase a more aggressive, jacking vibe, laced with a smattering of acid aesthetic. On 'Hooli Goose' the Belgian beat-master slows it down a notch with a slow-tempo, hip-hop vibe and clattering, tribal drum.
